Desco stands for Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited. It is a public Limited Company, and it distributes electricity at the Northern parts of Dhaka City and Tongi Town of Gazipur District. Desco was founded on November 3, 1996, under the Companies Act 1994 as a Public Limited Company. Nowadays, the company operates under the Power Division of the Bangladesh Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources. Desco has a total number of 1343332 consumers as of 30 June 2019.

Currently, all customers at DESCO can view and pay their bills 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with their DBBL Nexus Card. Follow these easy steps:
- First, visit www.desco.org.bd from your browser
- Click on “Log-In to Internet Bill Payment” option from the website
- Now type the Bill account number and click login
- Now click “View Bill” to see your bills
- Now click the “Pay Online” option
- You will see your bill amount
- Now click the “Pay Now” button
- In the next page fill the form with accurate information of your DBBL Nexus Card
- Now click the “Submit” button to pay the bill
How To Pay Bill Using Desco Mobile App
You can pay the Desco electricity bill online from the Desco mobile App. Follow these easy steps:
- Download the mobile app from the Play Store or Apple app store
- Register with your bill account number and mobile phone
- You will receive an OTP on your mobile
- Type the OTP and complete your registration
- Now select the language from the dashboard
- Now add your account number on the dashboard
- You will see your due bill from the dashboard
- Now select the bill that you want to pay and select a payment method
- Now provide the information and complete your payment

There is no need to stand in a queue to pay the Desco bill. Thanks to the gpay wallet, you can pay the bill from your mobile phone. Follow these easy steps:

- Now select the “Bill Pay” option
- If you are paying the bill for the first time, then select “New Bill.”
- Now select “Electricity.”
