Brick has a standard size and in Bangladesh, the standard size is specified by Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI). The standard size of brick is 10x5x3 inches. However, most of the brick kilns in Bangladesh follow the brick size of 9.5×4.5×2.8 inches.

There are various types of bricks available based on the application. They are:
