Brick has a standard size and in Bangladesh, the standard size is specified by Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI). The standard size of brick is 10x5x3 inches. However, most of the brick kilns in Bangladesh follow the brick size of 9.5×4.5×2.8 inches.
Usually, brick is made of burnt clay. The brick composition includes clay, sand, lime, and bearing soil or other concrete materials. Then the mixture is given the standard size and shape and it is fried into the manufacturing process.
