Improving a patient’s condition has become a must for all health care providers. The primary objective of a healthcare institution is to provide the best possible service and attain a high degree of patient satisfaction.
Healthcare performance of a country determines the strength of its economy. So, a healthier population underpins the progress a country can achieve in terms of infrastructure, manufacturing, trading, etc.
So, the relationship between health and economy is crucial. What seems to be the issue here not everyone can afford the healthcare they deserve according to their ailments or conditions. That’s when the concept of public hospitals arises.
For a developing country like Bangladesh, public hospitals can play a pivotal role in providing healthcare to the masses. 41% of the Bangladesh’s population lives on less than $1 a day, so they hardly allot investments for healthcare. But, keeping them in limbo can also seriously hamper the country’s growth.
As a result, Bangladesh established several public hospitals across the country with the sole objective of making healthcare feasible to the 41% and the masses alike. The public hospitals in Bangladesh are providing basic diagnosis for as little as $0.128. They also supply general medicines free of cost. Still they are concerns about medical malpractice, poor hygiene, lack of effective diagnosis. So, initiatives and enforcement are required immediately.
