According to Wikipedia “United Hospital was originally referred to as Continental Hospital and was established within the mid-1980s.

In 2004, Continental Hospital was purchased by a bunch of investors are renamed United Hospital.”

United Hospital Ltd. was born with the vision of providing a comprehensive health care solution for the people of Bangladesh. Opening its doors in August 2006 and located next to the picturesque Gulshan Lake, this hospital is one of the largest health centers in the private sector in Bangladesh. With a capacity of 450 beds and established in a total covered area of more than 400,000 square feet, this hospital is committed to meeting the needs of our diverse patient base.

The hospital building is a specially designed facility, with capacity for 450 beds in neighborhoods, cabins, emergencies, UCI, CCU, ICCU and other facilities. The hospital has 6 elevators for patients, 2 for visits and 1 for VIP. United Hospital Ltd also has its own guarded parking facilities for more than 350 vehicles, so visitors can rest easy when they visit their loved ones and their loved ones or when they go for a medical check-up.

United Hospital has forty offices and an outsized range of departments to treat patients with numerous conditions, including: cardiac, gynecology, orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, internal medicine, A and E, radiology, laboratory,

Nephrology, physiotherapy, ORL, ophthalmology, gastroenterology etc.
Several facilities in the hospital are monitored through a building management system (BMS).

The operational Theater are prefabricated with a structural steel cover and a sealed sterile coating without joints. The electrically operated UCI beds are fully automated with backup battery.
