Shakib Al Hasan is an international cricket player of Bangladesh. He is considered as one of the greatest all-rounders of world cricket. In 2015, he became the first and only cricketer in history to be the ICC’s number 1 all-rounder in all three formats of the game. Biography Of Shakib Al Hasan

Shakib Al Hasan was born on 24 March 1987, at Magura, a district in the south-western region of Bangladesh. From childhood, he showed proficiency at cricket. He started his 1^st class career in 2004 when he was picked by Khulna to play in the National Domestic League. Shakib first represented Bangladesh at the U-19 level, debuting in August 2006 against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club. Between 2005 and 2006, Shakib played 18 youth One Day Internationals where he scored 563 runs and took 22 wickets. He also made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe on 6 August 2006. He made his test debut against India on 18 May 2007.

1. In 2015, Shakib Al Hasan became the first and only cricketer in history to be ranked the ‘No.1 all-rounder’ by ICC in its Player Rankings in all three formats of the game (Test, One Day, and Tewety20 Internationals).

2. Best partnership record for any wicket for a Bangladeshi pair in ODIs, with Mahmadullah (224). This is also the highest ever 5th wicket runs stand in the history of the ICC Champions Trophy.
