Shakib Al Hasan is an international cricket player of Bangladesh. He is considered as one of the greatest all-rounders of world cricket. In 2015, he became the first and only cricketer in history to be the ICC’s number 1 all-rounder in all three formats of the game. In Bangladesh, he is considered as the greatest cricketers of all time.

Biography Of Shakib Al Hasan
Shakib Al Hasan was born on 24 March 1987, at Magura, a district in the south-western region of Bangladesh. From childhood, he showed proficiency at cricket. He started his 1st class career in 2004 when he was picked by Khulna to play in the National Domestic League. Shakib first represented Bangladesh at the U-19 level, debuting in August 2006 against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club. Between 2005 and 2006, Shakib played 18 youth One Day Internationals where he scored 563 runs and took 22 wickets. He also made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe on 6 August 2006. He made his test debut against India on 18 May 2007.

1. In 2015, Shakib Al Hasan became the first and only cricketer in history to be ranked the ‘No.1 all-rounder’ by ICC in its Player Rankings in all three formats of the game (Test, One Day, and Tewety20 Internationals).
2. Best partnership record for any wicket for a Bangladeshi pair in ODIs, with Mahmadullah (224). This is also the highest ever 5th wicket runs stand in the history of the ICC Champions Trophy.
3. Most wickets were taken in Twenty20 cricket on a single ground (123 at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur)
4. In 2015, after batting in the first match at the 2015 Cricket World Cup, Sakib Al Hasan had a total of 4,040 runs in ODI matches and became the first Bangladeshi cricketer to score 4,000 runs in ODIs.
5. On 13 January 2017, he registered the highest individual score (217) by a Bangladeshi batsman in Tests. Later it was broken by Mushfiqur Rahim who scored 219* against Zimbabwe in 2018.
